The Allan Slaight Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the pursuit of the impossible; they were created to acknowledge extraordinary contributions to magic. Established by the Slaight Family Foundation in 2015, the Slaight family has pledged to give $50,000 a year to celebrate exceptional work in five categories.
