Welcome to the index of A Celestial Celebration. Michael Claxton originally wrote twenty-five biographies for a series called, “Women in Magic A to Z,” for The Linking Ring between 2006 and 2008. Since then, Mr. Claxton has brought each of his mini biographies up to date, and we are thrilled to present them here.
Under each main letter, there is a Stargazing section that lists more performers. And please understand, we know it is far from complete! That’s where you come in. Please reach out if you see names missing.
You will also find a few Lunar Tributes under main listings. These are additional profiles added to the exhibition, and include contributions by others. As this exhibition evolves, we hope to add more and more profiles. If you are a star champion and have information to share about a performer, please consider contacting Magicana. Perhaps that performer can join this growing constellation as a Lunar Tribute.
