We woke up early so we can pick up supplies for the day’s mentoring session. We needed to create a few things so we could practice our new routines. Although there was a Home Depot and a Dollar Store by our hotel, we couldn’t build everything. Lucky for us, Johnny has some amazing friends that loaned us the props we needed. Gary Darwin supplied us with a beautiful blooming rose bush and Norm Nielson also provided us with some great props. Thank you to these two wonderful individuals.
The creation of one effect required me to spray paint a small piece of pipe to make it look like a candlestick. Now, picture this: I had to do this on our hotel bathroom floor, with newspapers spread everywhere of course! Can you imagine what the hotel staff would’ve thought if they’d seen this?
