Shamans, ravens, jesters, jugglers, conjurors, and magicians come in all shapes and sizes. In Tricks, David Ben - our resident trickster - presents a concert of magic inspired by an eclectic range of people and events. On stage Dec 5.
The Conjuror is a critically acclaimed theatrical experience about a great magician – the archetype of all twentieth century magicians – performing the greatest illusions of the period as he relates witty anecdotes and asides about the friends he has inspired along the way.
This unusual concert with two players, four hands, a piano and a deck of cards began when a magician, counting the white keys of a grand piano, noted that there were 52, the same number as cards in a deck.
